Families interested in joining Willow begin by scheduling a complimentary virtual Meet & Greet with Dr. Laura. During the conversation, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the practice. If it feels like a good mutual fit, enrollment information and next steps will be provided following the call.

Yes, the newborn membership is a separate, bundled period of care. At the end of the first three months, families can choose to continue with monthly membership or transition to another practice.
For families who continue with Willow, the enrollment fee is waived.

Monthly membership is an annual commitment, with the option to cancel at any time with one month’s notice. Care and membership continue through your final month.
The newborn phase is a three-month commitment.

Willow is a direct primary care practice and does not bill insurance for membership (including Medicaid). We recommend families carry insurance coverage for care outside the practice.
Vaccines are typically covered by insurance, and if not, the out-of-pocket cost is capped.

In many cases, yes, but it depends on your specific plan. We recommend confirming with your insurance provider or tax advisor.

Dr. Laura recommends following the American Academy of Pediatrics vaccine schedule and is happy to talk through any questions orconcerns you may have. For families who prefer a more gradual approach, Dr. Laura provides adjusted schedules while maintaining a medically grounded approach to care. Willow does not require vaccines for membership.
For infants under six months, Dr. Laura does require injectable vitamin K.
We only accept infants of home births whose parent was under midwifery care throughout pregnancy and birth.

Yes—families have direct access to Dr. Laura, including evenings and weekends.
After hours is best reserved for urgent concerns or situations that need more immediate guidance. Routine questions will be addressed the next business day.
Phone calls are reserved for urgent needs.
If you believe your child is experiencing a medical emergency or a situation that could become one, please call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency department.

When Dr. Laura is away, another provider is available for in-person care if needed. In many cases, she’s still able to check in remotely, though response times may be slightly delayed.

Yes, there are a limited number of options available for families who are not enrolled in membership.
This includes focused visits, such as the Infant Support, as well as occasional one-time visits as availability allows.
